OVERVIEW

A U.S.-based education technology company required a reliable 10-inch Education Tablet designed specifically to help students improve their math learning. BESTAR TEK team delivered a fully customized device with the customer’s proprietary learning software pre-installed, while hiding all non-essential Google applications to maintain a distraction-free environment. The tablet supports standard stylus input with natural, real-writing accuracy, enabling students to perform calculations directly on the screen.  To meet U.S. regulatory requirements, the tablets were manufactured with FCC certification, ensuring safe, compliant use in schools.  With seamless software integration, strong performance, and positive classroom feedback, this project strengthened our partnership and helped expand our customer base in the EdTech sector.

CHALLENGES

Flexible Firmware Configuration – A secure, password-protected firmware mode was needed to allow authorized administrators to switch back to standard Android.  

Distraction-Free UI Requirements – All unnecessary Google apps and pop-up notifications had to be removed or restricted while keeping the system fully functional.

Stylus Performance – The tablet needed precise stylus accuracy and a pen-and-paper-like feel for math exercises.
